6 Common Mistakes - Unsure if you need professional help? Here are 6 common areas where users frequently make mistakes. Ask yourself these questions and you’ll find your answer.
- Undeposited Funds: When you click on Make Deposits, is there a long list of checks waiting to be deposited but you know they’ve already been deposited?
- Accounts Receivable: If you run an Open Invoice report, are there invoices that are on the report you know have been paid?
- Accounts Payable: If you run an Unpaid Bills Detail report, have any of those bills already been paid?
- Sales tax: If you have to pay sales tax, do you use the Pay Sales Tax feature or do you write a check and list the account as Sales Tax payable or sales tax?
- Credit Cards: Do you know how to use credit cards correctly for your business?
- Bank Accounts: Do you use the QuickBooks reconciliation feature to balance your bank accounts?
If you answered yes to any of the first 3 questions or no to any of the last 3 questions, then you probably have mistakes that need correcting.
